With over 40 years in the carpentry industry, Niranjan Raystarted what would become a legacy in Kolkata's woodworking scene. Beginning as a young apprentice in traditional Bengali carpentry, he mastered the art of working with wood, understanding its soul, and transforming it into functional art.

His reputation for exceptional craftsmanship spread across Kolkata, earning him recognition as one of the most skilled carpenters in the city. Specializing in intricate woodwork, traditional furniture, and custom solutions, Niranjan Ray built a loyal clientele that spanned generations.

In 1980, he established his workshop in Mukundapur, laying the foundation for what would become Ray Furniture & Interior - a name synonymous with quality carpentry in South Kolkata.

Growing up in his father's workshop, Animesh Roy absorbed not just the skills of carpentry, but the passion for creating beautiful, functional spaces. With a formal education in interior design and years of hands-on experience, he modernized the family business while preserving its core values.

Animesh expanded the company's services to include comprehensive interior design solutions, modular furniture, and contemporary home decor. His vision transformed the traditional carpentry workshop into a full-service interior design firm serving Mukundapur, Khudirabad, and across Kolkata.

Today, Animesh leads the design team, blending traditional woodworking techniques with modern aesthetics to create spaces that are both beautiful and functional.
